Dr Boothe Reviews
The Best Treatment
I know that like many people who have problems with their vision, I wanted to improve it for a long time. I understand how it to be afraid when you decide whether to do a laser eye surgery or not. It is a very important decision and it all starts with finding the right surgeon. I gathered enough savings and found such surgeon - Dr. William Boothe.
When I was in my search phase, I found the home page of Boothe Eye Care & Laser Center, read about Dr. Boothe's skill and what types of equipment are used in his center. I spoke to people I know who had the surgery with him. Before I went to visit him the first time, I prepared a list of questions about all the issues that I was not sure about. I was pleased to speak with Dr. Boothe because he provided full answers to my questions and his patient coordinator was very knowledgeable as well.
I think that my surgery was relatively simple since I had to restore vision only in one eye. During the operation (he recommended using IntraLasik) I was afraid that I will not be able to gaze directly at the laser. Dr. Boothe explained that I should not be afraid because the laser works for only 5-10 seconds on the eye and if I moved the eye involuntarily the laser machine will find the deflection and adjust itself.
After procedure I close my eye and I did not open it for few hours. During this time I put eye drops which were given to me by his assistant. I felt some pain first by it was gone. When I opened my eye I could see my bedroom in all of its glory… I could read the prescription for my eye drops which was small print. In the evening I watched TV without any problem.
Next day I went to test my eyesight. Dr. Boothe said that I had 20/20 vision.
I will never forget his friendly attitude and the gift of vision he gave me.
My vision is restored
Last October I has laser eye surgery for myopia at Boothe Eye Care & Laser Center. Before my eye correction I had -4.75 & -4.5 vision in my eyes.
When I went to the center for the first consult with Dr. Boothe he was very polite. His nurses examined my eyes and when I set a date to do the surgery Dr. Boothe asked me to drip my eyes every day for a week before surgery as a precaution.
My laser eye surgery went very quickly and was almost unnoticed. Immediately after surgery for about 3 hours I felt tingling in my eyes and then it went back to normal. When I came to the office the next time, my vision was checked again and I had 0.8 vision. Dr. Boothe reassured me that within one month my eyesight will improve further. He did not lie. One month later I was at a consultation with Dr. Boothe and my vision completely restored. The tests showed that I had 1.0 eyesight in both of my eyes.
I am satisfied with the result of the operation. Thanks to Dr. Boothe I can now work on the computer for hours without straining my eyes.
